Hi,
We have debated over the years what those mucus formations are. I have seen many pictures from candida sufferers and have taken more than 50 I have passed myself after enemas and antifungal therapy. The fact is that candida cells are microscopy. The mycelial and germ tube phases are also microscopy. I have contacted microbiologists specialized in fungus regarding to this. The explanation I got is those formations are dead ephitelial tissue caused by an active fungal infection. Candida invades and digests tissues when infects them. The intestinal mucosal secretion is equivalent to the cheesy secretions women have when suffering an active vaginal candidiasis. That chessy secretion is dead vaginal tissues.
Anyway, the symptom is linked to a latent yeast infection.
I hope this help you.
