Well he says "leave it alone" and put whatever on it that makes it feel better. So i guess he means use whatever you want just make sure you dont peel the skin off.

Anyways I just tried using ointment on my lips again for about a week I think they are more red and irritated than ever. Its just too hard to keep them from peeling. I could feel the trauma as they were peeling too. So I guess Im going back to using nothing and sticking it out.

But it is good to hear that he has seen this before and that it has gone away. I have only heard that from 1 other medical professional.
