For a long time, I felt horrible for 10 full days of my cycle--but it was during ovulation and not my period. I felt better on my period. And my cycle was only about 22-23 days, so it was pretty much half the time. I had spotting for longer than my period (although, I only bleed a tiny amount for 2 days, the spotting could start 4 days before that.) I know some doctors say our bodies are all balanced in 3-4 months, but a nice osteopathic primary I saw said some women take 12-18 months to balance after something like the Mirena. It's horrible but true. I hope you will feel better MUCH sooner! Hang in there!
