Heavy metals happens to be my story. It is not everyone's problem; however I wish someone had suggested it to me 15 yrs ago, even though it was a long shot.

When the symptoms match, it is worth mentioning. It is not going to be the first thing people consider but if the doctors are having a tough time getting to the bottom of the problems, does it not make sense to eventually consider it?

Furthermore, today there are decent options for treatment, including, frequent dose oral (Cutler protocol).
For example:
ARI (autism research institute) treatment parent ratings 2009
http://www.autism.com/pro_parentratings.asp

"Detox. (chelation)" 74% report "got better", 3% report "got worse", 23% report "no effect"
The 74% rating is the best of all of the many dozens of listed interventions.

Of course this does not preclude the use of nutritional balancing. If a person knows that a particular heavy metal is involved, it will allow the nutritionist or natural doctor to make a better plan to try to offset the ways that the particular heavy metal affects body chemistry.

Regards,

Joe
