Some of you may remember laredo7 posts on the topic, and after reading through them and hitting a plateau with NB I decided to get myself tested for histamines. I did the niacin test and learned nothing, but lo and behold a blood test revealed borderline high histamines.
It only took me about 2 days of taking methionine and following a Low Histamine Diet to feel better. My system finally slowed down and the adrenal rush stopped, I feel so happy and so much relief (physical and emotional). I am only about 10 days into this so I need to solidify this progress and make sure it is not a coincidence - but the initial feeling was hopeful.
I think this is going to be one of if not the last key to my healing. I encourage anyone whose progress has stalled to look into histamines. I still think Adrenal Fatigue is a product of other imbalances in the body and not the problem in and off itself, and histamine levels setting off adrenaline rushes are another example of this.
