Lugols Iodine oxides & dries the skin when I applied it to my skin, so it would oxidize the stomach linings as well?

When I take 8 drops 5% Lugols on empty stomach, it feels harsh on my stomach. If I take this dosage once or twice a day, will it cause stomach ulcer ( breaking on stomach lining) after some time ( months) ?

If Lugols iodine, colloid silver kills friendly gut flora, do you supplement probiotics at the same time ( taking separately between them)
