Oh boy....my hopes were just dashed when I read your reply. I will be on the blood thinner coumadin for the rest of my life and I am 52 now. I have Factor 5, high protein S which means my blood clots very easily. Have already sustained two dvt's and 3 TIA's before the real culprit was diagnosed. The last two TIA's happened while off the coumadin for 7 days each time prior to my sinus surgeries.

I am just really frustrated and feel hopeless with this situation. I am doing everything I can to keep the mucous thinned down by drinking lots of water and clear liquids, eating right, exercising.
