I believe humaworm recommends periodic abstinence from the herbs to prevent resistance, but that doesn't really make sense in the case of tapes, since the same scolex is generating all the segments...

One of my favorite herbalists, Ingrid Naimann, says she doesn't believe there is a resistance issue with herbs, and I think she bases her opinion on her observations with a microscope.

I think they fight the meanest, and bite the hardest, when they feel the most threatened... I certainly feel them needling deeper into me when I am high dosing. I believe it is because they are trying to bury themselves into deeper tissues that are not yet saturated with the herbs I am taking to kill them.

I would google "Herbs that Kill Tapeworms", make a list, and buy them in bulk at the herb store. I would grind them with a coffee grinder, sift through a tea strainer, put in capsules and take them. I would also make tea with the herbs and do retention enemas.
