Shouldn't there be any indication in the blood when you have the "leaky gut syndrom" or other conditions where the gut isn't working as it should (thus not absorb all the nutrients from food)? There should definitly be some kind of insufficiency (iron, vitamins, ...) if the gut doesn't process the food as it should? That's what makes me suspicious about EC being caused by something like that. I have no health problems otherwise (no new ones at least, I do have dandruff and a thyroid hypofunction (which I have had for years and which is under control), but other than that I seem to be perfectly healthy).
