I forgot to say that some people with severe IBS have to ingest ringworms since they produce mucus in intestines. I would never try that, though. The good news is a pharmaceutical company is working on a pill to form mucus in the intestines so people will not have ingest ringworms! So, mucus could be a protective coating on intestinal wall.
