Eric,
That is normal. Heat the water to a warm point in the microwave to simulate body temperature. It isn't necessary to hold the water inside. What is important is to evacuate the colon reaching a point where the water comes clear. Don't use too much water, only a couple of cups by round. 4 or 5 rounds should bring the water clear.
