To start my cleanse I did a few days with broccoli and potatoes or asparagus and potatoes only. I think for the reasons you are posting. Proteins, carbs, and fat, all combined rot because they digest at different speeds and things are really slowed down. So I tiptoed into the "fruitarian" candida cure but with potatoes instead. I felt so nasty from fruit also and was not in a huge hurry to add it back.

Did you get a colonoscopy or ever have bloody/tarry stools?
