sometimes i hear a staccatto type sound which doesnt last very long, but mostly it is white noise which will come and go suddenly. it may stay for a while or not long at all. having been in radar, it definitely reminds me of some sort of focused rf. its not bad here. in fairbanks alaska, it was awful, and it definitely effected how i felt. and i could get audibles on most of it - without electronic devices!
