The detox isn't forced. it happens naturally for everyone when their body is ready. The sauna and enemas are suggested to help it along if you feel you can handle them but not necessary.
In many cases, if you have metal toxicity, the metals need to start coming out to give the adrenals the chance to start healing at all.
If you are very deficient, specifically in sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium, they won't even put you on the full program. They will make sure to get your nutrient levels up first so your body is strong enough to heal.
I have had issues with derealization (terrible sensation) off and on for years and it got bad again when I got sick, but since I detoxed a bunchof copper a few months ago its been gone.
