Thanks for the response. The highest reading was during the sauna. I thought that saunas helped the body to eliminate toxins, but I won't do that anymore, even just a few minutes took a lot out of me.

The other readings were during the fast. My normal resting heart rate is usually in the 90s which is high. My nursing teacher showed concern all though my doctor's didn't so I don't know what to make of that.

My main concern was for the diastolic pressure being so high. I didn't want to strain my heart. Current my heart rate is still 124. Since my normal heart rate is so high, do you think that it is 34 points higher just because of the fast and shouldn't cause much harm?

I will check my heart rate and BP in the morning and post then.
