I want to give you a potential heads up before your phone consultation with Dr Lam. From the comments I have read Dr Lam often 'avoids' patients who are very sick so he might tell you he feels you need to go to someone else. Doctors in the US are trained to avoid high risk because that also represents a high chance of being sued.

Your case is very scary. Dr Larry Wilson has trained people who work under his supervision. He recommends Nutrional Balancing. It works for some people but not for others but then you would be able to largely side step the supplements route.
