Hi everyone. I'm still trying to find the right steps for me and was wondering what the top 5 protocols, supplements, and books you have used that you felt helped you the most. With so may different ideas, supplements, and varying views, there are probably thousands of combinations of doing things.

I personally am still researching and it seems like every time i learn about one thing, something new pops up. I'm hoping that this might help me and other members possibly get new ideas or revisit old ones. Hopefully it can serve as a guide to others later on.

I know there are differences in opinion on what works and their effectiveness, but that's not the goal. The idea is simply what you felt helped you the most.

Sorry if there are similar threads out there. I searched and couldn't find any. Thanks and Happy 4th of July!

============================================================

I know it says top 5, but if there are more that you feel really helped please feel free to list them as well!

*DIET
Before going into the three categories, I was wondering what kind of diets or dietary guidelines everyone is following since this seems to be the most fundamental thing

A. Top 5 protocols, Methods, Ideas
The protocols you felt helped you the most. It appears most of us have similar and overlapping issues so please don't hold back and list ANYTHING you felt worked for any variety of symptoms or conditions.

For example, zapping, earthing/grounding, liver flush, coffee enemas, oil pulling, clay baths, Iodine, sun gazing, nutritional balancing, Andy Cutler protocol, sleeping naked in the backyard, ANYTHING.

B. Top 5 Supplements, Herbs, Concoctions
Essentially anything taken that has helped you the most be it vitamins, minerals, probiotics, glandular supplements, amino acids, etc. I guess anything that's a mixture of different things would be considered one thing if it was taken in one combined form.

C. Top 5 books
Pretty self explanatory. The top 5 books you felt helped you the most

*Bonus- Random Facts, Tips, Advice
ANYTHING you've learned along the way that you think might be helpful.

Thanks once again!

Example: Me
I'm pretty new and have mostly been researching, so the things I've tried and the advice i have are severely limited, but here's me:

*Diet
I've been gluten free since 9/5/11 and I havent really noticed much of a difference since going gluten free. I haven't tried gluten since i cut it out though, so I don't know what its affect would be on me now.

Started eating organic and cut out all undesirable food starting this January and noticed my anxiety and panic attacks have decreased.

Trying to figure out what steps to take next for my diet. Currently considering the Specific Carb Diet or going Plant Based. I have tons of digestion issues, food intolerance, etc. so I have to try something else. Any suggestions welcome!

A. Protocols- Still new so I haven't tried many. My list is probably very insignificant. lol
1. Castor Oil Packs- Helped me feel a lot better
2. Candida Diet (with no starches/grains at all) and antifungals. Seemed to be effective at the time although i suspect the Candida might be back
3. Acupressure- Couldn't tolerate it at first as it gave me headaches, but has really seemed to help recently
4. Including Iodized salt into my diet (plan on starting Lugol's soon). Feel like it helped a little with the headaches (not sure if it's a mental thing)
5. Liver Flush- Only did one that failed to produce any stones but it's the only other thing I've tried so far (will try again when my adrenals are a little stronger)

B. Supplements
1. Enzymedica DigestGold Digestive Enzymes
2. Ester-C 1000 mg Vitamin C
3. Caprylic Acid and Pau D'Arco helped with my Candida a lot
4. That's about it. I have varying results with other things

C. Books
1. Digestive Wellness by Elizabeth Lipski
2. Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation by Andreas Moritz
3. Adrenal Fatigue by James L. Wilson
4. Healthier Without Wheat by. Dr. Stephen Wangen
5. Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gotschall

Bonus
1. Certain foods and herbs can be estrogenic
2. Malic Acid and Cilantro chelate certain things. I took malic acid for a week not knowing this and got the worst detox symptoms ever
3. Apparently vision, dreams, headaches, head/eye pressure can be affected by the health and state of the pineal gland or third eye (something im really interested in)
4. There is a top 10 list of forums on Curezone (just discovered this a few days ago... lol)
5. Curezone members are by far the nicest, insightful, and willing to help compared to any other forum I've been on. Bar none. Thank you guys so much!
