Christians use the word "saved" because of the promise made to them. Just like an engagement ring given to a woman is a promise to marry her at some later date.

However, engagements can be broken if one or the other does not keep their end of the agreement. Guess who's NOT going to mess up their end of the deal? It takes great faith, preparation, and endurance to hang in there waiting for the glorious day the groom comes for her.

We have not completed the process as of yet.

Sorry I didn't get that last question. It was spoken in broken christianese.
