The scene suggests a situation in which you are using some rational idea/way of thinking (driving my car) which is aimed at getting you back upon grounds of reasoning you felt comfortable with when much more innocent or perhaps naïve. (trying to get to my childhood neighborhood) You may be questioning yourself mentally (ask a man) as to how to achieve this because your state – implying the state you are in, in terms of your living conditions – are now quite different.

You may have been “taken in” – fooled in some way where it pertains to a business-like or more serious mental attitude when seeing the idea that things can be neatly divided into specific categories. (Then I was inside an office with many cubicles) You are assessing yourself for your suitability for a particular type of job or function. (I was interviewed for a kind of job) In this scene one might assume the job being sought could be an office type job or one requiring skills and education yet what you seem to have in mind all along is a job or function much less respectable and requiring no skills or education. (job that was at the end being escorts for men) While you do voice your objection (I said I didn´t like it) an emotional aspect of yourself keeps you in a cubicle against your will, i.e. there is an aspect of yourself that would pigeon-hole you; place you into a specific often oversimplified category where your job options are concerned. (I was kept by a woman in a cubicle against my will)

You see a “window of opportunity” to make yourself heard until some aspect of yourself that does live in reality hears you and can help you escape from this confining situation. (shout till someone{outside}hears me). The idea of being confined to an overly simplified category is not seen belonging to a straight or honest situation.
(cubicles arranged like a maze) To escape from this kind of thinking may be the fight of your life or possibly a fight for “a life”.

You seem to have picked up some emotional support for escaping from some dishonest situation. (we both planned to escape) However, you can see yourself emotionally having some negative emotional baggage (I saw her with two suitcases) that may actually have come from this dishonest situation – a situation in which you have put yourself unwillingly into a category from which it could be difficult to find your way out of. (maze-like cubicles) Money can be used in dreams to represent your thought power. As the money here comes from this dishonest business or situation, it can reflect the amount or value of the thinking that has been put into or upon this dishonest business/situation. From an emotional perspective, you see yourself coming away from this situation with the idea that the thought that has been put into it carries little value but the True Self sees the thought put into/upon it as having much more value than you would assume. Emotionally you might regard what you come away with as “a steal”, i.e. that you have gotten the best value for your thinking ability.

You can see yourself emotionally being caught or “had”.( She was caught) Using a different emotional perspective you see yourself invited to leave this situation (she showed me the door) after insisting upon it. (I told a woman to let me leave) But the option to leave seems very securely closed to you in a way that seems somewhat exaggerated. (so many locks) Locks as on a safety box can imply there is great value related to the option to leave. There is a way out but perhaps in your mind one not quite so up front or legitimate/honest. (found a back door and it was quite simple to get out)

You could think you have emotionally put yourself into this situation because you are not the kind of person who takes chances. (I´m a person who almost never puts herself in dangerous situations). There is something to be said for “living an honest life”. Here this might extend to the idea of “self honesty” especially where it pertains to evaluating yourself for your suitability/capabilities for a function. You may need to attempt to correct a rational course of action or way of thinking, one that has been given some significance or importance in your mind (tried to write the names of the streets), one associated with your being unwilling kept or assigned to some particular category where job possibilities are concerned. The aspect of yourself that is concerned with any wrong doing [thought wise] needs to get involved. (going to the police)
