Well, oftentimes that is the one area that I "struggle" with with Matt - is the hippie-look that he has.
Of course, I know that they have become MILLIONAIRES as the top retail company in the world for raw foods; and I know that they left the US and are living (very well) in Ecuador; and I'm familiar with their books, and all that they do and just how intelligent they both are..BUT, if others don't and I just want to share one little blurb or YouTube video, 'first impressions' do alter the affect and message. I wish that it were not so.

Pictures of Matt before he became raw, ironically, and in my opinion, are much, much more attractive, I think. Of course, Angela was a whopping 300 pounder or something like that prior to becoming raw vegan.
He and Mike Adams are such close friends and business partners (of sorts) and yet Mike is much more the 'picture' of health; along with Kevin and AnneMarie Gianni (also friends and health advocates) and more the clean-cut appearance.

Anyway, was glad to see this video. I subscribe but rarely actually watch them - just pick and choose.

And as far as the enemas go - or just the whole concept of taking something instead of looking to actually fix the problem..my heart just sinks with all the occurences around me daily. One co-worker's cousin - a FOURTEEN year old girl had her breasts removed because she had breast cancer; one co-worker's mother has Leukemia and begins a 30-day "treatment" of Chemo; another co-worker will have surgery next month on her uterus and bladder - her bladder wall is too thin and dumping toxins (what??); and it just goes on and on..
Yet as customer after friend; after neighbor; after co-worker; after their relative DIES and I even slightly raise the question of "does anybody here see that perhaps this isn't working?? The 'treatments' don't work?"..they just don't get it.
Gradually..gradually..people will see..will question..will learn..will understand..

I'm soo, sooo, grateful, I was RAISED the way I was
