and he was born by c-section. I didn't want one, but I was young, it was 4:30am, and I think the doctor just wanted to go home. I was more worried about a scar than something being wrong with him because he never went out my vaginal canal.

Now that being said, my son was a star baseball and soccer player, smart in school, a leader, and had a full scholarship to a division II university for his pitching skills. He graduated with a 3.8, which isn't bad for a kid who had to travel and work out 24/7.

He is very well adjusted, has no personality issues, or health issues, and we bonded beautifully. He was breast fed though, which may have helped.

He just graduated, and has already surpassed my record income, which was pretty darn good.

Oh, and did I mention he is incredibly handsome, and was the evny of other parents growing up. If I had a dime for every time I heard "I wish _____ was more like him".

I understand the Science behind what a child might miss while being born naturally, but Science is not always correct. I hate to think that mothers who have to have a c-section think they did something wrong or their child is destined to have physical/emotional issues.

I do think there are way too many performed today, and mine probably was not necessary. But it all worked out, and I was lucky to have a doctor who was skilled with the knife, the scar is barely noticable. My sis was not so lucky.

I just wanted to put a good word out for c-section kids, they seem to be getting alot of press lately :)
