Linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) is one of the constituents of flax oil. The sulfurated form which appears when flax oil is heated together with elemental sulfur is referred to here as wondrenic acid (after Wondro). It potentially has three clusters of sulfur atoms:
There are more sulfur atoms per molecule (i.e. more barbs on the acetaldehyde bait hook)...but flax oil has other non-sulfurated constituents as well. The NAC used here is more concentrated with the timed release mechanisms of Resbid (Ecological Formulas) emulsified into the flax oil. As a result the total number of sulfur atoms available for acetaldehyde binding over time in emulsified Resbid might be comparable to Wondro, delivered in a mode of similar viscosity.
