Just because someone eats pancakes and syrup everyday, doesn't mean they are nutritionally deficient.

They most likely, are eating far more or else their organs would fail.

I have 2 uncles in their 80's that drank like fishes all of their lives, but they are still living without disease.

They eat VERY well all their years and get plenty of sunshine.

Alcoholics die from cirhossis when they stop eating well.

50k of D3 per day is too high to take on daily bases for more than a few days.

If our D levels go beyond 100, can cause heart problems and hypercalcemia.

The best source for D is the sun, but some of us don't have the luxury of sun bathing.
