For shingles (herpes zoster) or chicken pox. L- Lysine, and cayenne pepper will stop it in its tracks.

Take about 10 500mg Lysine capsules and a few cayenne capsules at the first signs of an out break. And it works even better if you mix the cayenne in warm water and drink it.
