The pain started the 3rd night of the fast. I do have Joel Fuhrman's 'Fasting and Eating for Health' that I was reading as a guide. He does not recommend you fast longer than 3 days without a doctor. I would like to try the repeat fasts of 10 days. I did check my blood pressure, but think I would need to have some blood tests done to be on the safe side.

I am planning to get a genetic test of ApoE gene to see if I am a 4/4. I have had high cholesterol for many years and am taking Crestor and Niacin (not while on fast). I paid to have a heart scan myself and my calcium score was 500. That is how I found out I have CAD. Otherwise my cholesterol is 197 on medication and the regular doctors would be saying I'm fine (I have no symptoms). I go to the gym and work out but don't overdo it. If I watch my heart rate, won't it get worse if I'm sedentary?
