Seriously since I got this condition my life is a whole waste of time.
First I took this with lightness thinking that it would leave in a few weeks like a little problem among others..
I saw it was persisting so I was over-using chemicals on my lips, visited many dermatologists all along the months without any improvement, plus we all know that chemicals make our condition worse, it was the case for me of course.
Since the end of the year 2009 all my projects have fizzled out because I am totally disturbed by this shit and how can it be different given that it is on our face.
In short, if I should lost my English or even restart my entire life without this condition I would say YES without hesitation.

Like you said, this case is very similar to psoriasis, it evolves just like this disease, the problem is that no case of lips Psoriasis is really known..but I am very sure that a lot of people are as concerned as us, I see people complaining about chapped lips on forums with exactly the same symptoms than ours but still use chemicals prescribed by dermatologists who treat this like vulgar dry lips..
I wonder if it is triggered by an internal cause because I can't understand why just lips are concerned and no other part of the body, at all..

About the way I am living, I just live in a normal way like someone with a normal life (of course except that I have a shitty life because of this condition) by getting showers regularly, brushing my teeth every day, wihtout drinking through a straw anymore..Well I think that a normal guy whose lips are hurt doesn't dive in a paranoia like we do..
It will be almost three years that I have to deal with it and I'm a bit exhausted : unknow condition, no solution from specialists, don't know if it would leave one day, it has been already too long, anyway..!

Thank you sirpreis for the picture, in fact, are they your lips or you've found it on the folder? Because I don't remember having seen it before!
