It really is hard to know what is causing this for you. There are so many possibilities. I got my bowel function restored with the 2 GB3 per meal. I was always constipated before that. GB3 would definately not work for anyone with diarrhea.

Your condition is chronic and so I kind of disagree with the body throwing off metals. Which I am guessing would be more of an acute episode but maybe.

A couple things come to mind. Have you considered parasites. I battled a very bad parasite infection on and off for close to 2 years. Worst thing I have ever gone through. I thought once I got rid of them I would be ok. I was heaps better but was eating a mainly raw vegan diet. parasite cleansing is very hard on the adrenals. The diet just set me backwards in my healing journey. Live and learn. That's why I crawled in to this forum and low in all minerals except 2.

This is why I take 2 Cat's Claw capsules with each meal. I don't ever want to go through that again. It is an amazing herb that will clear up almost any intestinal infection. Plus eating raw garlic with the evening meal. The garlic really keeps the mosquitos away as well. I love to spend time in the woods with no bug bites.

The fact that you took lots of anti-biotics could have really compromised your gut flora. Probiotics never really worked for me. I took loads of them. The weight loss also makes me suspicious of a parasite.

The other culprit could be food allergies like gluten or dairy that sneaks into the diet. My hubby went through this very same problem for years. He no longer has this problem on the meat and veggie diet.
