I use an herbal plant iodine form a source that I trust. I'm not sure whether Hv makes an herbal combination containing plant iodine but if he does, I may well try it.

It is not designed just for iodine, but also to increase cAMP for proper iodine uptake, T4 to T3 conversion, adrenal support since the adrenals affect the thyroid, accessory nutrients, etc. As I have always said there are many causes of hypothyroidism. Iodine does not address all form and too much can aggravate some thyroid conditions. It is important to support the thyroid and related parts of the glandular system rather than simply throwing iodine at the problem. Otherwise you are just asking for other problems.
