You're a good parent to listen to and understand your son. My mom never took my lip condition seriously. She just thinks of it as chapped lips. She has no idea how it has affected my life although I've told her countless times. I think she thinks I am overreacting over chapped lips. It doesn't matter since I don't think she would have been able to help me back then.
