I didn't keep track. It was hard for many to stay on such a strict diet even if it was healing their lips. But the diet was not a cure since once people went back to regular diet, their lips went back to EC. It is amazing that MontrealHomegrown's lips healed within a month instead of several months. However, it is puzzling how his healed lips go back to EC right after he goes off the diet. Although the lips are completely healed, they become unhealed again.

I've tried things that made my lip heal more at vermillion border, then they start to peel below it, but eventually the vermillion border area peels again.

Someone recently asked if others had obsessive compulsive disorder. I don't have that, but I admit got severe Depression right before EC started. There are times in my life that I have been really happy without my lips getting better. I am trying to figure out if it could be psychological. Something internally could become damaged with so much stress and never recover even when we feel happy?
