i think you suffer from the same psychological affliction that gerty has...

wherein the sufferer deems their viewpoint fair and balanced, but others, by virtue of disagreeing, are unbalanced and not fair.

in common circles this is also known as self-reighteousness. not a redeeming quality to have, trust me. in gerty-speak people who disagree are known as trolls.

gerty goes over the top with it, but you haven't yet... unless you are thinking about a gerty internship?

and for free i'll even tell you the root of it, balk as you might. it stems from you encountering something more powerful than you had previously experienced in your travels, and your ego, unable to grasp that high dose iodine is more powerful than the very mediocre advice you dole out (though very safe -- the hallmark of the beaurocrat), fractures into a colorful array of cognitive dissonance.
