think you are comparing apples and oranges. iodine supplementation removes excess fluoride, bromides and other toxins... and is at the same time, a vital nutrient (that can't be utilized really until the halogens are at least partially displaced). This is not the same thing as trying to stop the body's inflamatory process.

as far as one of the root issues is concerned, stealth pathogens, my own opinion... diet and lifestyle changes certainly help. but once they are dug in (which is the case for many people), these will not complete the job. while there is no magic bullet for stealth pathogens, things like rife, detox, CS, etc go a long way... with Rife being at the top of the list. Until Eden is recreated, its the best we have.
