Hi Linda,

Not sure if this will help, but my mom had severe edema from having a very low albumin.

She was only 90 lbs.

Low albumin occurs when your protein intake has been chronically low.

After giving her 75-90 gms of whey protein per day, her edema was gone by the 4th day.
