This Awareness indicates that when you use psionics tools for negative purposes, it is likened unto the black magician using his knowledge , tool of mind, to cause harm to others. The karma for this is greater than if the entity simply went out and hurt the other person in a straight forward manner. The entity not only is being violent toward another, but is being highly deceptive and doing this violence from a deliberate position, and attitude, and a position in which there is no immediate threat to his own well-being.

Wherein an entity in anger moves out to confront another and finds himself in confrontation, angered to the point of violence, and the other is destroyed, this type of violence and confrontation does not carry as much karma as the action of premeditated murder, taken place from a hidden point at a distance....In terms of radionics devices, the entity is in a remote place, involved in destroying another using a device, and the karma is greater than the entity who was in a physical conflict.

There are of course mitigating circumstances, such as if the entity using the psionics device was trying to protect his family or loved ones, feeling that they were threatened ...Karma is that which cannot be considered in itself without considering the mitigating circumstances and the degree of the violation....If one violates another, seeking revenge for another deed, or if one is under the misconception that someone is attempting to violate his loved ones, these would all have a mitigating effect on the karma. One must also consider the ignorance factor, or awareness factor as well.
