Yes, I've been recently reading about the problems root canals can cause. I have only one root canal on my bottom right side. I had it done about 9 years ago by a shady dentist (he was near my school). He didn't even put a crown on my teeth but just a filling. My new dentist saw what he did and re-did the root canal about 2-3 years ago and put a new crown on. About a year after that, my problems arose........maybe its a coincidence....could be the bacteria. I hope OP helps either way. It's my 5th day OP...not much results yet :( I'll continue and have hope though. You thing 5 days is still early in the OP healing process?
