Pregnenolone brought me back from one of the worst periods of my entire life. I experienced a particularly huge stressor last year and my body basically gave out on me. I was plunged into a severely low cortisol state, at one point I thought I was suffering from some kind of combined CFS/Fibro/Adrenal Insufficiency type condition that left me bedridden last summer. I had been treating for adrenal fatigue/biounavailable copper for 3 years previous to this,my progress had been steady but slow, almost like 2 steps forward, 1 step back. My body was already pretty weak and this particular stressor was overwhelming to my still quite fragile state. I discovered pregnenolone while researching Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome treatment options. Within about 3 weeks I could get out of bed and was walking around like a regular person, my doctor was baffled but intrigued having witnessed the condition I had been in prior to this. I hadnt had any hormonal testing as I only seeemed to need the preg for about four months to achieve full effect but there is no doubt in my mind that it averted a possibly severe adrenal/hpa axis crisis. A miracle worker
