Die-off can last a while. Just remember that. It depends how bad you had the overgrowth. It takes a long time to weaken the candida, then for it to lose its grip in your intestines. You will notice the same old symptoms come back but worse. Just when I thought I was coasting, the last 3 weeks have been shaky as far as digestion goes. I kept thinking I accidently ate gluten, but no.. I reminded myself that every time in the past that I reached a new level of healing, I went through a few weeks of old symptoms coming back really strong. I stick to that because it only makes sense that if you had candida overgrowth in your gut for instance, it would be somewhat localized. It's not going to move around daily, rather find a crevice and harbor there. So when it gets attacked, you would primarily feel it in that area. For me, it's the left side, what I believe to be the descending colon. Yes I'll feel it a bit elsewhere but it's always that classic symptom I get on the left side when I'm doing treatment. And every time I go through this (it's been 2 solid years), I always have a renewed sense of health on the other side.

Just trying to tell ya to keep the faith and ride the wave 'til it calms down. It could take a month or two even though I'm sure you only want it to take a few days.

What really helps to relieve some of the symptoms is p&B shakes. The Bentonite helps absorb some of the dead yeast and other harmful fungi and bacteria. There are other options I've never tried but heard good things about like colon hydrotherapy or any other bowel cleanse.

In my opinion, the time to do a cleanse is when you feel the symptoms climaxing. Take it as far as you can, and stay positive throughout, knowing that you are going to war and winning.

There is no way to avoid the symptoms if in fact you are getting rid of a serious candida problem. It's just impossible for all that junk to pass out without you feeling it.

Yesterday, after 3 weeks of old symptoms, I did a p&b shake. Today I feel that renewed sense of health. Always remember to sweep your bowels when doing cleanses because you need to get rid of the junk. If you leave it up to your body's natural processes, you'll fall behind and feel like things are getting worse. THINGS FEEL WORSE when they're getting better. Trust me, this comes from 2 years of the same cycle over and over, except every time it happens, I feel even better! and YES, it takes a long time. That's why I am always promoting longterm cures.
