. I suppose it's possible that the early mercury fillings opened the way to MAP, do you think? I mean it's been about 20 years since the mercury fillings were in. I would have dumped it all since then, surely?

If you search mercury on this forum you will find some information on the hype over mercury.  I have also covered the fact that most of the mercury leaches out of amalgams within the first 2 years of having them put in.  And most of that gets bound by things such as alginates, phytates and pectins in the diet pulling it from the body.
