Yes, they are in such a rush to publish their papers and get recognition on their discovery, that they don't follow the patient or their family/intimate others for many years to see what impact it might have on their health.

It's the same for all the published "studies" on Ascaris infections, just because they take a single dose, then test the stool, they claim cured, and the paper is published. Rarely is a followup done, and even then, it is usually 6 months. It can take more time for an infection to build back up and wreak havoc on a body.
