Wow. I'm brand new to this site and like you was scrolling through the list and saw 'lonely.' I couldn't believe there was a place to talk with other lonely people. I'm a 45 year old married mom to two teenage boys and I've just recently realized how lonely I am. I just said it to my counselor this past week. I have all kinds of problems, but they boil down to - lack of relationship with anyone. Aren't married people supposed to be connected after 19 years? Nope. Not in my house. I so understand what you are saying about the bubble. In fact that's exactly how I describe my life - in a bubble. I don't have any words of wisdom, just wanted to tell you I GET IT! Hang in there and keep reaching out like you did here. You write beautifully and should make use of that skill. Keep writing.
