What happened to your last post above? I can't see the remainder of it. You were going to quote the article with "Then they say:" but nothing shows after that.
I am not sure what happened to the rest of the post. I was having a lot of problems with another recent post as well. I was addressing a bunch of comments from one of the trolls here in Curezone. After several hours of typing up the response I went to adjust the size and the whole post erased. So I had to start from scratch. Every time I tried to paste something though the cursor was jumping back to the top and would not let me paste where I needed to. I did the post for this thread around the same time so there must have been a glitch going on with Curezone or something. No problems since then.
I think I was responding to this comment from the link:
"Osteoarthritis is an inflamatory disease. The foods most suspected of creating this inflammation are rich in fungi, moulds and yeasts. "
It is true that osteoarthritis is an inflammatory disease as are all forms of arthritis. But unlike some forms of arthritis this form has nothing to do with any pathogens. Osteoarthritis is a "wear and tear" disease.
Some of their other comments are really a stretch as well such as:
" The natural foods used to treat or prevent hypertension are very similar to the natural foods used to treat or prevent cancer, meaning these two diseases have something in common."
Then there was this misleading comment:
" We should also be treating the acidity (generally using diet), which allows these things to thrive. "
Allow what to thrive? Candida albicans thrives in an alkaline environment. So do many molds, bacteria and other pathogens. The alkalinize for health myth is just that, a myth. The people who keep claiming this have no clue of the roles of acidity in the body. Of course being too acid can be just as deadly as being too alkaline, but this is why the body has so many redundant systems to maintain its pH. Trying to force the pH in to an alkaline state merely puts more stress on these systems and can mess with other systems that play a role in our health such as stomach acid.
Anyway, if yeast is not a direct cause, could it possibly be an exacerbating factor for cancer?
Not that I have seen. There are some molds that produce toxins that have been linked to cancer. For example, Aspergillus niger linked to liver cancer due to its aflatoxins. This still requires severe enough immune suppression for this to occur though.
