I will second what Marie64 said. I have read that our "layers" of health issues are often connected to and embedding emotional issues, as you detox stuff out the emotional stuff can dissolve too.
Also, with copper specifically, anxiety causes the body to deplete itself of zinc which then causes the body to hold and store extra copper, copper creates anxiety which in turn causes the body to retain more copper and in creates a terrible cycle.
One of the places it stores is in the brain, copper can mimic bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I can attest to the former.
