Water always symbolizes emotions. So what I get from this is that your emotional life looks clean and clear at the surface but in the bottom there´s a lot of dirt. People warn you not to go because it might be dangerous, but you seem to be willing to dig into that emotional realm.

Probably you are in therapy or digging by yourself in your emotions. You also have the perspetive a possible Depression if you go trough it.
