For the past few years I have been dealing with chronic sinusitis and candida overgrowth due to long-term anti-biotic use.

Besides doing everything I can for both of these ailments (plus surgery), I still have a lot of pressure build up in my frontal sinuses above my eyebrows. My head feels like it's going to explode every time I bend over.

I have recently started adding Grapefruit-Seed-Extract (grape seed extract) oil to my anti-fungal regiment. Besides drinking it I thought of dabbing a little on a q-tip and snorting some oil up my nose. I hope by doing this while bending downwards I could have the oil reach my deeper sinuses. I do this after showering at night about an hour after doing a sinus rinse.

In the morning when I wake up I get a lot of yellow mucus followed by strings of blood.

My question is , would this be candida(or another microbe) ?

I don't know if this mucus is from a previous build-up, or if my body is just starting to produce it in reaction to the Grapefruit-Seed-Extract oil.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
