Thanks for that Chrisb1 and thanks for the encouragement.

Yet my earlier symptoms, up to day 12, have been so severe that I would have climbed the walls if I had had the strength to do so. I guess it's all very individual. I have fasted on juices several times and they must have had more value than I thought.

I have had about 50% more water today but I felt I needed it. Tomorrow I'll be back to the usual 500ml max.

An interesting note: am I the only one who finds that water tastes super-sweet, as if actually sweetened with sugar. That kicked in a few days ago.

The reason I see my BP after the AM measure is because the machine also measures pulse. I'll ignore BP from now on (after the first reading) and will not get obsessed with it. As for Mum, she's a persistent woman... I'll just laugh it off until my tongue goes pink.
