I've read that we have high concentrations of Iodine in the tear ducts, and Iodine deficiency will cause dry eye. The Dr.'s studying and using Iodine with their patients, did iodine load testing to find out how prevalent is iodine deficiency in the US, and the results shocked them, 96.5% of all their patients were deficient. the US has a more pronounced problem in this area than other countries as since the end of WWII the powers that be decided this essential element to healthy living is now TOXIC and DANGEROUS. and have done much to make us sicker than any other place. The European Health Ministry has re stated that Iodine is essential to maintaining health and encourage all in Europe to eat/take iodine to stay healthy. research iodine, it's all very fascinating
