Hi Dr. Sutter, et al. I hope you can help us at least know what is going on with my old buddy. He's probably 56 years old, and has been a very strict natural hygienist for decades, nearly 100% raw. He is (big surprise) starting to have some pretty serious problems. He is having trouble holding down food, bad nausea, and is loosing weight. He's not a big man, but I hear he's down to about 80lbs. We have been trying to get him (over the phone) to try some smoothies with say spirulina, hemp powder, coconut oil, etc but he's very very stubborn and well, if he keeps this up he's probably on his way out. So... I'm going to drive down and see him in a few weeks and try to help. I'm wondering if someone can help me understand what is going on with his digestion and what we might be able to do to help him. Seems to me that it's pretty simple, I think he's just gone into deficiency so bad that he can't even make hcl, or digestive/liver enzymes anymore. I realize that he might have made his choice already on some level, but even stubborn cancer patients sometimes wake up in time and take another path. Any help greatly appreciated!!!!!
