It is easy to get frustrated, but don't forget we are all
people like you and I just learning from what we read.
I don't have the education to answer your questions.
It took me 2 years to figure out that I had to go to many
different forums, so when I do a search eg niacin I click
on All Forums so you can try to figure out where you can find the discussions.
I learned about niacin on the cholesterol and Iodine forums. The links I gave you are from the Iodine forum
since people there had answered my questions when I was
on that forum.
Indeed it is easier if you take it with food.
I liked the 2nd link in Newport's post and several years ago I read all the highlights in that link.
