Thanks Gents. I've got a call in with my local doc to discuss medications. Not sure how it will go. I think I will press for taking Tinidazole as well, since I have several issues outside the gi system, such as muscle soreness and chronic ankle pain. (Correct if I'm wrong, but as I understand it the Tinidazole works toward relieving those symptoms). I'll keep you updated.

Two other questions:

1. Diet while on the drugs? Like many, I've done several diets (GFCF, paleo, paleo + rice and potatoes, etc). I'm assuming something low-carbish will help -- is that your experience? I did eat a lot of nuts on the straight paleo, which probably wasn't helpful.

2. Probiotics while on the drugs? Should I be taking them? S boulardii? I've taken Flagyl once and it turned my tongue white. I don't want these drugs to trigger other issues.
