The nutritionist from the hospital said I needed to be eating AT LEAST 2 slices of bread with every meal.


This sounds like advice aimed at keeping you in insulin. I mean, seriously: this is working for the drug companies.
(masquerading as giving you 'a hit', via the bread) Absolutely absurd!
